Reception of Guests

“All guests who come are to be received as Christ himself.” (Rule of St. Benedict, chapter 53)

Our Guest House is open to everyone who desires to return to him/herself, to that interior space where Life welcomes you, in surroundings characterized by silence and separation from the world. The rhythm of the Divine Office and the Eucharist, to which our guests are kindly invited, is a source of inspiration, strength, and solidarity.

There are 14 rooms (several of which are double rooms): 6 rooms are on the ground floor and 8 rooms are upstairs. Each room has its own toilet and shower. Internet connections are also available.

There is a pleasant sitting room for guests, which also houses a library for their use. The meals are vegetarian, eaten in common in the guests’ refectory.

COST:
The cost is € 40,00 per day (24 hours), which includes three meals. A recommended price for persons with minimal income is € 30,00 per day (24 hours). Guests can bring their own bed linens and towels (a coverlet is provided); or towels and bed linens can be rented for €7,50.

Then follow the signs to Oosterbeek.
In Oosterbeek, turn left at the first stoplight, onto Stationsweg.
Immediately after crossing the bridge over the railroad tracks, turn left and follow the signs to Abdij Koningsoord.
